No Goopy Impressions
Remember the tray full of putty you had to hold in your mouth while trying not to gag? We don't use it. Our 3D scanner takes a precise digital picture of your teeth in a few minutes — nothing to bite down on, nothing to swallow, no gagging. It's more accurate than the old molds, which means crowns, aligners, and night guards that fit right the first time. You can even watch your own scan build on screen while we work.
No Needles, No Drills, No Pain!
For many gum and soft-tissue procedures, our dental laser replaces the scalpel and the stitches. That usually means little to no bleeding, less need for anesthetic, less swelling afterward, and healing measured in days instead of weeks. Most patients are surprised the procedure is over before they expected it to start.

Meet the Team
Our diverse, trilingual team has one goal — making sure every patient leaves feeling better than when they arrived.
Dr. Pena earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1988 from the Havana College of Dentistry, along with a doctorate in Normal and Pathological Physiology, and went on to teach physiology at the Universities of Camagüey and Las Tunas. After emigrating to the United States in 1995, he earned his D.D.S. with honors from New York University College of Dentistry, received an award from the American College of Prosthodontists for outstanding undergraduate achievement, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Pena supports the Hands of Compassion Foundation, donating materials and equipment to provide free dental care to underserved children in Honduras. His charitable work also includes the Orange Volunteer Fire Association, the Orange and Stratford Police Unions, the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Griffin Hospital Development Fund, among many others. A true example of the American Dream earned through hard work and sacrifice, he is devoted to his family and enjoys traveling, gardening, and spending time with his wife and son.
Dr. Ivette Lora was born and raised in Santiago, Dominican Republic. She received her Doctor in Stomatology from the Pontifical Catholic University Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and continuing education in Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2014, she moved to the United States and attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where she received her second Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.
Aside from dentistry, Dr. Lora enjoys immersing herself in new experiences and traveling to new places with her husband, two kids and their dog Bruno. She loves getting to know other cultures specially their gastronomy, spending quality time with her family, and planning the next theme party. She is also fluent in Spanish and enjoys crafting.
Dr. Lora is highly dedicated to continuing education, ensuring that she provides her patients with the best possible quality care and treatment.
Dr. Musco earned her D.D.S. from El Colegio Odontológico Colombiano in Bogotá, Colombia, then completed three years of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Columbia University. Her specialty training included multidisciplinary comprehensive care, advanced implants, Invisalign certification, and aesthetic and cosmetic dentistry. Giving back is her passion: she led oral health campaigns in Colombia, joined dental missions in Haiti, and has spent five years providing free dental care in Connecticut through Mission of Mercy and the Give Kids a Smile Foundation.
Vilma was born in Cuba and earned her Doctor of Medicine (1991) and Doctor of Ophthalmology (1995) from the Camagüey Advanced Institute of Medicine. She practiced as an ophthalmologist in Cuba and Colombia before joining Stratford Dental Care in 2005. Certified by the Dental Assisting National Board in Infection Control and Radiation Health & Safety, she brings over 27 years of medical experience and is efficient and precise in chairside assisting.
Ashley was born and raised in Bridgeport, and knew from elementary school — through her own dental checkups and orthodontic visits — that she wanted a career in dentistry. She attended Kolbe Cathedral High School and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree from the Fones School of Dental Hygiene at the University of Bridgeport. She joined our team in May 2015, is fluent in Portuguese, and loves creating a fun, educational experience for children and parents while teaching how whole-body health starts with good oral hygiene.
Dr. Edy's career began in the 1980s. After studying as an accounting assistant at Academia Santiago, she earned her degree as a Doctor in Stomatology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM) and ran her own dental practice in the Dominican Republic for ten years. In 2007 she moved to Watertown, CT to continue her education in radiology, and has worked as a certified dental radiology assistant ever since. Married for 30 years, she has three daughters, two granddaughters, and a grandson, and enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, romantic movies, and time with family.
With over 25 years of combined experience in dental care and education, Araceli brings deep knowledge, compassion, and professionalism to her work. She began her career as a dental assistant here at Stratford Dental Care, then expanded into pediatric dentistry and operating-room assisting. She later served as a dental instructor at Fortis College in South Carolina, where she trained and inspired aspiring dental assistants. She's delighted to be back in hands-on patient care as part of our team.
Adriana was born in Veracruz, Mexico, and moved to Connecticut in May of 1991. She holds a master's degree in business administration from Sacred Heart University and has been working in the dental field for twenty-seven years. She is responsible for negotiating with insurers and communicating clearly with patients regarding their finances and insurance benefits. Adriana enjoys meeting with patients and building a good rapport in order to provide the utmost quality of service.
